01About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and To confirmlegal name of the business that runs PlayLog (“PlayLog”, “we”, “us”), which operates PlayLog. They apply to the website at playlog.in, the PlayLog app at dash.playlog.in and PlayLog Premium (together, the “Service”).

You accept these terms when you create an account — the sign-up screen asks you to agree to them and to our Privacy Policy — or when you continue with Google or otherwise use the Service. When you buy Premium, you also agree to the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use PlayLog.

02Who can use PlayLog

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
  • You can’t use PlayLog if the law prohibits you from doing so, or if we have previously closed your account for breaking these terms.
  • PlayLog is designed for players in India, and prices are in Indian Rupees.

03Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
  • Usernames are unique. Don’t choose one that impersonates someone else or that is offensive.
  • Keep your password secure and don’t share your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • If you sign in with Google, your access also depends on your Google account.
  • We send emails that are part of running your account, such as sign-up confirmation and password-reset links.

04Teams, roles and invitations

  • When you create a team, you become its owner. The owner can invite people, approve or decline requests to join, remove members, mark shares as paid or undo them, post matches publicly, set up prepaid court packages and wallets, change the team photo, and delete the team.
  • Members can see the team’s matches, payments, expenses and wallets, and each other’s profiles, including any UPI ID a member has added. Any member can log a match; the owner and the person who logged it can edit it later.
  • People can be invited by username or exact mobile number, with a shareable link, or with a join code. Anyone who has a join code can join straight away, so share it only with people you want in the team. Links and codes can be regenerated, which stops the old ones working.
  • To leave a team, ask its owner to remove you. Removing a member keeps their past matches and payments on the team’s record.
  • Deleting a team is permanent and removes everything in it. PlayLog offers a full export first.

Owners are responsible for how they run their team, including adding people and their information only with their agreement.

05Match records and money between players

PlayLog works out each player’s share of a match or expense from what is entered — costs, players and minutes played — using the method chosen: by time played, equally, or custom amounts. The result is only as accurate as the information entered.

Paid and pending shares, wallet balances and prepaid packages are records kept by the team’s organiser. PlayLog never receives, holds or transfers money owed between players, isn’t a bank, wallet or payment service for those amounts, and can’t verify a UPI or cash payment made outside it.

  • Pay via UPI opens your own UPI app with the organiser’s UPI ID and the amount filled in. The payment happens in that app, between you and the organiser, under your UPI app’s and your bank’s terms. Check the details before you pay.
  • Organisers are responsible for the amounts they record and for collecting money. A share shown in PlayLog is a record, not a bill or demand from PlayLog. Disagreements about who owes what are between the members of the team.
  • PlayLog doesn’t book courts or venues. They are booked and paid for outside PlayLog, which only records the cost.

06Nearby matches and meeting other players

A team’s owner can post an upcoming match publicly, with the number of players needed and the court location, and any signed-in user can find it and ask to join.

  • PlayLog doesn’t verify anyone’s identity, ability, fitness or conduct. Whether to accept a player, and whether to meet and play, is your decision, and you take part at your own risk. Take sensible precautions when meeting people you don’t know.
  • PlayLog isn’t a party to arrangements between players or teams, including agreements to share costs, and isn’t responsible for the condition or safety of venues.
  • To the extent permitted by law, PlayLog isn’t responsible for what happens at matches arranged through it.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to use PlayLog — including names, photos, team details, match listings, join requests and messages — to:

  • share anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, obscene, defamatory, misleading or harmful to children;
  • impersonate anyone, or misrepresent who you are;
  • send spam, or misuse invitations and join requests;
  • add someone’s personal information without their permission, or use information from PlayLog to harass or contact people for unrelated purposes;
  • upload content you don’t have the right to share, that infringes anyone’s intellectual property or privacy, or that contains malware;
  • share content that threatens public order or the security of India, or that is otherwise prohibited by law;
  • break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, get around its security, rate limits or plan limits, or access data that isn’t yours.

We may remove content or restrict features that break these rules. You can report misuse to To confirmsupport email address.

08Your content

  • You own what you put into PlayLog — team details, match records, photos and messages (“your content”).
  • You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and process your content only as needed to provide and secure the Service and to show it to the people you share it with. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law and records that are part of a team’s shared history.
  • You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. Uploaded profile and team photos are stored at public web addresses, so anyone with a photo’s link can view it.
  • We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, or when a court or government authority requires it.

09Free and Premium plans

Every PlayLog feature is available on both plans. Premium raises three limits:

Plan limits
LimitFreePremium
Teams you can create15
Teams you can join (owned by others)15
Matches per team you own10 in totalUnlimited
  • The match limit follows the team owner’s plan, so members of a Premium owner’s team can log unlimited matches there.
  • If Premium ends, your account returns to the Free limits. Nothing is deleted: existing teams and matches stay, and only creating more than the Free limits is blocked.
  • Current prices and limits are on the Pricing page.

10Premium subscription and billing

  • Price. Premium costs ₹59 per month. To confirmwhether the Premium price includes GST
  • Payment. Payments are processed by Razorpay, using the payment methods it offers at checkout, such as UPI and cards. Razorpay’s own terms also apply to your payment.
  • First payment and activation. You pay for the first month at checkout. Premium switches on as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment to PlayLog — usually within a minute. Closing checkout without paying charges nothing.
  • Automatic renewal. Premium is a monthly subscription that renews automatically every month until you cancel. At checkout you authorise a recurring payment mandate — UPI AutoPay or a card mandate — and renewals are charged only through that mandate.
  • Failed renewals. If a renewal payment fails, Premium pauses at the end of the period you have paid for and your account returns to the Free limits. Razorpay may retry the payment; if a retry succeeds, Premium resumes.
  • Receipts. Razorpay emails a receipt for each payment, and the Subscription page in the app shows your renewal date and billing history.
  • Price changes. If we change the Premium price, we’ll tell you before the change applies to you, and it won’t apply to a period you have already paid for. If you don’t want to continue at the new price, you can cancel.

11Cancelling Premium

  • Cancel at any time in the app: Subscription → Cancel subscription. This cancels your Razorpay subscription and its UPI AutoPay or card mandate straight away, so you won’t be charged again.
  • You keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve already paid for; the Subscription page shows the date. After that, your account moves to the Free plan and nothing is deleted.
  • A cancelled subscription can’t be restarted. You can subscribe again once your paid period has ended.
  • If a renewal payment is failing when you cancel, Premium ends straight away, because that period hasn’t been paid for.
  • You can also cancel the mandate in your UPI app or with your card’s bank. The next renewal then can’t be charged, and Premium ends with your paid period.

Cancelling stops future payments. It doesn’t by itself refund a payment already made — refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

12Availability and changes to the Service

  • We work to keep PlayLog available and reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable at times for maintenance or updates, or for reasons outside our control, such as a failure at one of our service providers.
  • We may change, add or remove features to improve PlayLog, keep it secure or comply with the law. If a change significantly reduces what Premium gives you during a period you have paid for, we’ll tell you in advance where we can, and you can cancel.
  • If we discontinue PlayLog or Premium, we’ll give you reasonable notice where possible, so you can export your data, and we’ll stop future renewals. Any payment for a period you can no longer use will be handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
  • PlayLog relies on other services, such as Google, Razorpay, UPI apps and map providers, whose availability and terms are outside our control.

13Intellectual property

PlayLog’s software, design, name and logo belong to To confirmlegal name of the business that runs PlayLog or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. Don’t copy, modify, sell or resell the Service, or use the PlayLog name or logo, without our permission.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely.

14Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using PlayLog at any time. Deleting an account isn’t available in the app yet, so to close yours, email To confirmsupport email address. If you have Premium, cancel it in the app first so no further renewal is charged.
  • We may suspend or close your account, or restrict features, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts other users, PlayLog or anyone else at risk. Where appropriate, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
  • If we close your account because you broke these terms, you aren’t entitled to a refund for the rest of a paid period, except where the law requires one. If we close it for any other reason, a payment for a period you can no longer use will be handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

15Disclaimers

PlayLog is a tool for keeping records and coordinating teams. It doesn’t give financial, legal or tax advice, and its figures are calculations based on what users enter.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those that applicable law requires. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that can’t be excluded by agreement.

16Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be excluded or limited, including for fraud. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • we aren’t liable for losses caused by other users, including disputes over money between players, inaccurate records entered by users, or anything that happens at a match;
  • we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity;
  • we aren’t liable for failures or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as failures of networks, payment systems or service providers;
  • our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid PlayLog for Premium in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

17Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • If you have a problem with PlayLog, please contact us first at To confirmsupport email address — most issues can be resolved quickly. You can also write to our Grievance Officer; details are in the Privacy Policy.
  • Subject to your rights below, the courts at To confirmcity whose courts hear disputes have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the Service.
  • Nothing here affects your right as a consumer to file a complaint before a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — including where you live or work — or to seek help from the National Consumer Helpline.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PlayLog changes or when the law requires it, and we’ll change the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant — for example, to the price or to how billing works — we’ll let you know in the app before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using PlayLog and cancel Premium before then; continuing to use PlayLog after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

19General

  • These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy are the whole agreement between you and PlayLog about the Service.
  • If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest continues to apply.
  • If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • You can’t transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to whoever takes over PlayLog; we’ll tell you if that happens, and it won’t reduce your rights.
