ABOUT PLAYLOG

For the groupthat plays every week.

PlayLog is a web app for people who play sport together in regular groups — the weekly badminton, cricket or football crowd. It replaces the spreadsheet, and the “who still owes?” thread on WhatsApp.

How it works

  1. 01

    Log the match

Sport, date, time, venue and the court’s location, who played and for how long — and what the court and any extras cost.

  2. 02

    Split it fairly

By minutes played, equally, or in custom amounts. Shares are worked out on PlayLog’s server to the paisa, so they always add up to the total.

  3. 03

    Track who’s paid

Everyone sees what they owe. The team’s owner marks shares paid, and every mark and undo stays in the history.

Around that, everything a team needs

  • Teams and invitations

Create a team, invite people by username or mobile number, share a link or a join code, and approve requests to join.

  • Guest players

Add the friend who turned up without an account. They’re counted in the split like anyone else.

  • Pay via UPI

On a phone, opens your own UPI app with the organiser’s UPI ID and the amount filled in. The payment happens in your UPI app.

  • Team expenses

Shuttles, balls, refreshments, transport — shared costs that aren’t tied to one match, split equally or in custom amounts.

  • Prepaid packages and wallets

Record a block of court time paid for up front, or money a player has handed over in advance, and let PlayLog settle shares from it.

  • Nearby matches

Short of players? Post the match publicly. Looking for a game? Find one within 5 to 50 km and ask to join.

  • Messages

One-to-one chat between teammates, and with a match’s host when you ask to join. In-app notifications for invites and requests.

  • Analytics and exports

Spending over time and by sport, team contributions, and Excel and PDF exports — including a full copy of a team.

  • Profiles and Supports

Matches played and your most-played sport on your profile, and a one-way “support” to follow other players.

Sports

Every team picks a main sport, and every match records the sport it was played in.

  • Badminton
  • Cricket
  • Football
  • Pickleball
  • Basketball
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Table Tennis

What PlayLog doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t handle money between players

Paid marks and wallet balances are records kept by the team’s organiser. PlayLog never receives, holds or transfers the money players owe each other — the only payment PlayLog takes is the Premium subscription.

  • It doesn’t book courts

Courts are booked and paid for wherever you usually book them. PlayLog records what they cost.

  • It doesn’t vet players

Nearby matches can connect people who don’t know each other. Whether and how they meet is up to them.

  • No ads, no tracking

There is no advertising, analytics or tracking code in PlayLog, and your data isn’t sold.

Who runs PlayLog

PlayLog is operated by To confirmlegal name of the business that runs PlayLog. It’s made for amateur players and team organisers in India: prices are in Indian Rupees, and UPI is built in for paying organisers.

The app runs at dash.playlog.in in any modern browser, on a phone or a computer — there’s no app-store app to install. It’s free to start, and Premium is ₹59 a month for people running several teams.
