Refund and Cancellation Policy
How cancelling PlayLog Premium works, when a payment can be refunded, and how to get help with a payment.

01Premium and how it is billed
PlayLog Premium is a digital subscription to the PlayLog app at dash.playlog.in. The Free plan costs nothing and has nothing to cancel or refund.
- Price: ₹59 per month. To confirmwhether the Premium price includes GST
- First payment: you pay the first month at checkout, through Razorpay.
- Renewal: Premium renews automatically every month, on the UPI AutoPay or card mandate you authorise at checkout, until you cancel. Nothing renews without that authorisation.
- Receipts: Razorpay emails a receipt for each payment. The Subscription page in the app shows your renewal date and billing history.
02Cancelling Premium
How to cancel
- Sign in at dash.playlog.in and open Subscription.
- Under Manage subscription, choose Cancel subscription.
- Confirm. The app shows the date your Premium runs until.
Can’t sign in? Email To confirmsupport email address from the email address on your PlayLog account and we’ll cancel it for you.
What happens when you cancel
- Your Razorpay subscription and its UPI AutoPay or card mandate are cancelled straight away, so you won’t be charged again.
- You keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. After that, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: your teams, matches and payment records stay, and only creating more than the Free limits is blocked.
- A cancelled subscription can’t be restarted, but you can subscribe again once your paid period has ended.
- If a renewal payment is failing when you cancel, Premium ends straight away, because that period hasn’t been paid for, and Razorpay stops retrying the payment.
Cancelling through your UPI app or bank
You can also cancel the AutoPay mandate in your UPI app, or the card mandate with your bank. The next renewal then can’t be charged, and Premium ends when your paid period does. Cancelling in the app as well stops Razorpay from attempting the renewal at all.
03Cancellation and refunds are separate
Cancelling stops future renewals. It doesn’t refund a payment you have already made, and it doesn’t end the Premium you’ve paid for early.
If you believe you’re owed a refund, ask for one separately — see How to ask for a refund. You can cancel and ask for a refund at the same time; they are simply two different requests.
04Refunds
The general rule
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once they have been successfully processed — including when you cancel part-way through a period or don’t use Premium during it. This is subject to applicable law and to the rules of Razorpay and the payment networks.
Duplicate payments
If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period, the extra payment is eligible for a refund once we’ve verified the duplicate with Razorpay.
Paid, but Premium didn’t switch on
If your payment succeeded but Premium wasn’t activated on your account, tell us. We’ll investigate with Razorpay and resolve it — by activating Premium for the period you paid for or, where appropriate, by refunding the payment.
Other billing errors
If you think you were charged in error — for example, a charge after your cancellation was confirmed, or an amount different from the price you agreed to — contact us. We’ll investigate, and if the charge was made in error, we’ll refund it.
Your rights under the law
These are not the only situations in which a refund may be due. This policy doesn’t limit any refund or remedy you are entitled to under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under the rules of the payment networks and your bank. Where the law requires a refund, we will make one.
How refunds are paid
- Refunds are made through Razorpay to the payment method you used — the same UPI account, card or bank account.
- We’ll confirm to you when a refund has been initiated. How long it then takes to reach your account depends on Razorpay, your bank or card issuer, and the payment method.
05Failed or pending payments
- A failed payment, or a checkout you closed without paying, doesn’t start Premium and isn’t charged by PlayLog.
- If money left your account for a payment that failed, it is normally returned automatically by your bank or payment provider. If it hasn’t come back, contact us with the details and we’ll help you trace it with Razorpay.
- If a monthly renewal fails, Premium pauses and Razorpay may retry the payment. If a retry succeeds, Premium resumes; to stop the retries, cancel in the app.
06How to ask for a refund or report a payment problem
Email To confirmsupport email address from the email address on your PlayLog account. More help is on the Contact and Support page. Please include:
- the email address you use for PlayLog;
- the date and amount of each payment involved;
- the Razorpay payment ID for each payment — it starts with
pay_and is in the receipt email Razorpay sent you; - your UPI transaction reference, or the entry from your bank or card statement, if you have it;
- what went wrong — for example, “charged twice for October” or “paid, but still on Free”.
Never send your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or password. PlayLog will never ask for them.
We’ll review your request and let you know the outcome.
07Delivery of Premium
Premium is a digital service. Nothing is shipped.
- Premium switches on online, on your existing PlayLog account, as soon as Razorpay confirms your payment to PlayLog — usually within a minute.
- You use it at dash.playlog.in in any modern browser, on a phone or a computer. There is no separate app to download.
- If Premium hasn’t switched on a few minutes after a successful payment, open Subscription in the app and choose Check again. If it still isn’t on, contact us — see Paid, but Premium didn’t switch on.
08Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies, and a change never affects a payment made before the change was published.
